Filming & Photography Guidelines

All commercial, non-profit and student filming or photography activities conducted on John Wayne Airport (JWA) property require prior review and approval from the Airport Director. In addition, an Access/Encroachment permit issued by the County of Orange may be required.

Filming locations are limited, and requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Please allow a minimum of fourteen (14) business days to complete the permitting process. Feature-length productions or complex shoots may require 30 days or more.

Application Process

Application Submission

Submit a completed Filming and Photography Application to JWA Filming Coordinator, Elma Choi. For filming projects, please include supporting materials such as storyboards or script pages, if applicable.
